Practical AI and Automation for Owner-Led Businesses.

Most wasted time hides in the little jobs everyone has learned to do without thinking. Bracken East finds the repeated work costing your team hours every week, tells you plainly which of it is worth automating, and builds focused, human-approved automation around the software you already use.

Led by Jason Daly, Managing Partner: more than two decades building software and growing engineering teams. Based in southwest Connecticut, serving businesses nationwide.

Where Is Your Team's Time Going?

Your processes may work. The question is what they cost in hours nobody counts. Common signs there is time to win back:

  • The same information gets typed into more than one system.
  • Quotes, renewals, and follow-ups depend on someone remembering.
  • A spreadsheet holds the real status of orders, jobs, or clients.
  • Someone spends part of every week checking one system against another.
  • Paperwork from customers or suppliers has to be chased by hand.
  • Reports get built by copying numbers out of several places.

You do not need a technical plan before getting help. Bring one costly problem, or tell us the jobs your team grumbles about and get three ideas to start from.

What We Do

Find the Work Worth Automating

What we do

Start with evidence, not a platform.

We learn how the work actually moves through your business, including the handoffs, workarounds, and judgment calls that never make it into a process diagram. Then we tell you which jobs are worth automating, and which are better left alone.

Build Around the Software You Already Use

What we do

Keep the systems your team knows.

We start with the systems you already run, and the first recommendation is often to configure something you already pay for. We only build a custom piece when the evidence says it's worth it.

Keep People in Charge

What we do

AI acts only where you approve it.

We set explicit human approval points around customer messages, record changes, money movement, schedules, and other consequential decisions, so automation takes the busywork without taking the judgment.

Keep It Running After Launch

What we do

So it never becomes one more system to babysit.

Once a workflow proves itself, Managed Operation keeps it healthy: a 99.99% monthly uptime guarantee, around-the-clock monitoring, and a plain-language monthly summary.

What Changes for Your Team

  • Hours Back Every Week

The repeated jobs that quietly eat into the week get handled, and that time goes back to your team.

  • Fewer Things Falling Through the Gaps

Quotes get their follow-up, finished jobs get invoiced, and updates reach the people waiting on them instead of sitting between systems.

  • A Clearer View of the Business

When the busywork is handled consistently, it becomes easier to see what is actually happening across orders, jobs, and clients.

  • No New Platform to Learn

We work with the software you already run. The first recommendation is often to configure something you already pay for.

Where the Hours Usually Hide

We work with owner-led businesses of roughly 10 to 100 people. Every business is different, but the same kinds of gaps show up again and again. A few examples worth checking:

  • Specialty Trade Shops

Measure-to-quote turnaround, quotes that never get a follow-up, installer scheduling handoffs, and supplier price changes that have to be keyed in by hand.

  • Distributors and Wholesalers

Purchase orders re-keyed from email and PDFs, price lists and inventory that drift between systems, and backorder updates customers have to chase.

  • Manufacturers & Fabricators

RFQ intake and quoting, work order and shipping paperwork, and matching purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.

  • Trades and Field Services

Calls and bookings that never become jobs, estimates without follow-up, and completed jobs that never get invoiced.

  • Auto Repair & Service Shops

Estimates waiting on customer approval, parts ordered and tracked across supplier calls and websites, appointment scheduling and service reminders, and repair orders re-keyed before they can be invoiced.

  • Independent Insurance Agencies

Renewal reminders, collecting documents from clients, and moving the same data between carrier portals and the agency management system.

  • Property Managers

Maintenance request triage, owner reporting, and lease renewal and rent follow-ups.

  • Accounting and Law Firms

Client document intake, engagement letters, deadline tracking, and reconciling time and billing records.

How an Engagement Works

Who Does the Work

You work directly with Jason Daly, our Managing Partner, from the first call through delivery. He has more than two decades of experience building software and a track record of growing teams and products, including nearly a decade in the advertising and marketing agency industry. In his most recent role, he led engineering at a fintech startup, strategically scaling the team and the platform.

AI and Automation Questions

What kinds of work are good candidates for automation?

Repeated jobs that move the same information between systems: order entry, quote follow-up, checking one system against another, and chasing paperwork. If a task needs a person's judgment every time, we'll say so and keep a person on it.

Do we have to replace the software we already use?

No. We start with the systems you already run, and the first recommendation is often to configure something you already pay for. We only build a custom piece when the evidence says it's worth it.

Will AI make decisions or contact customers on our behalf?

Only where you approve it. We set explicit human approval points around customer messages, record changes, money movement, schedules, and other consequential decisions.

What does an Insight Sprint deliver?

A focused working service, built on your real data and systems normally within ten business days, along with an evidence-backed report on how it performs. You evaluate it for 30 days, then decide whether to keep it running under Managed Operation or run it yourself. If the numbers don't justify keeping it, the report will tell you plainly.

Who keeps it running once it works?

We do, through Managed Operation, starting at $200 a month. We guarantee 99.99% monthly uptime for the covered workflow, monitor it around the clock, and send a plain-language monthly summary. Managed Operation is optional, though. The code and accounts are always yours, so you can also run it yourself or with another developer, using the documentation we hand over. In that case the Service Level Agreement's guarantees don't apply, but you're always welcome to reach out.

Let's Talk. Bring One Costly Operating Gap.

In one focused 45-minute call, we will identify places where automation will save time, improve visibility, and grow revenue.

After the call, you will receive a report covering the opportunities we found, any additional calls or system access needed to validate them, and a practical path forward.

If the right choice is not to automate, we will be clear. Zero strings attached.
